“Tracing the Lagoon” follows the course of an ephemeral water body at my home-place; Brown, often muddy and always rich with life. Water is a contentious subject in Australia, the land of droughts and flooding rains. And even though I can’t help but feel as though this place is my place, I question: Who, or what, has the right to water?
